Outlier Journeys is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit our web site. You can access outlierjourneys.com and browse our site without disclosing any of your personal data. Outlier Journeys does not collect personal information about individuals, such as names and mailing or e-mail addresses, unless it is knowingly provided by the individual via a form submission. If you do not enter your information into any forms, we cannot and will not store any of your personal data. We aspire to comply fully with applicable data protection regulations, in particular the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) and ePrivacy Directive, where applicable. However if you choose to fill out a form, including when commenting on our website, reaching out to us via a contact form, signing up for our newsletter or anything else that requires you to physically write in your information, we collect the data you surrender and store it securely.

Information we collect

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by the consumer, such as site inquiries and requests. We will not share any information collected from inquiries or requests submitted on our site. If you have submitted a form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Travelers confirming their trips with Outlier Journeys are asked to complete our Intake Form, which collects personal information relevant to your travels, including but not limited to Passport, Health and Dietary information. This information is stored, encrypted, on our cloud server, and is retained as part of your client record for convenience when you confirm multiple trips through us. However, you may always request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web site, to assist our travel professionals in contacting you (at your request), and for marketing purposes.
 

To cancel future e-mails from Outlier Journeys

If you do not wish to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending us an e-mail at the above address, calling us at the above telephone number, or unsubscribing via the instruction on the bottom of the email received. We do not send marketing mailings to postal addresses.

Telephone numbers are confidential

Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding specific inquiries or requests. We do not engage in telephone marketing.

With respect to security: we have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

Should we obtain actual knowledge that we have received information from a minor other than one who has traveled or is registered to travel on one of our journeys, we will delete that information.
